Dear Parents

School was very colourful today as pupils came in traditional dress for our Africa Day Dress Up Day to celebrate Africa Day, which is tomorrow.

For those who have heard that we now have a teacher named Mrs Cowper, she is not a new teacher.  Miss Bellringer married during the holidays.  We wish Mrs Cowper and her husband every happiness.

Our sporting fixtures have started off with a large number of hockey, netball and chess fixtures played over the past week, as can be seen from following results.  The standard of all for the beginning of the season is most impressive.  We are monitoring the traffic very carefully with regards to fixtures and travelling times and hope that the calendar fixtures will not be affected as potential lost teaching time has to be taken into consideration.

Our Wildlife Club had a most enjoyable and informative trip to Mukavusi Woodland on Thursday afternoon.

Our receptionist, Mrs Benade, has left the school but has been coming in on a part time basis to assist over the past few weeks. We thank her for her service and wish her every success in her new position. We also thank Mrs. Rhodes who has stepped in to help in the interim.
